Little bit about me
My name is Lauren Hvistendahl. I’m a 23-year-old creative professional and graduate of the University of Washington, where I majored in Real Estate and minored in Business. While my academic path focused on strategy, policy and structure, I have always been driven by my artistic skills and passion. What began as childhood doodles and sketching on the margins of my homework pages has grown into designing independent projects for friends, family, and people I have met through my social network. I have began to create meaningful artwork that captures exactly what my customer is looking for, which I feel is an absolute honor.
With a naturally creative mind, I have obtained the ability of bringing ideas to life. I use procreate and an apple pencil to create all of my art pieces, or at times, I'll go old school with a pen and paper.
Throughout my education and career opportunities, I have consistently found ways to nurture that artistic passion. While at the University, I had the honor of designing custom merchandise for my sorority. Post-college and presently, I work as a Golden Goose Artisan, where I customize and hand-finish luxury sneakers, transofmring each pair Into a one of a kind wearable piece of art. I love this role because I am able to create a special token for our clients to take home and wear the memory. Beyond that, I have launched a side hustle crafting custom greeting cards, and curating tattoo designs for those that are interested, which I have showcased on this site.
Outside of my professional and creative work, I love to travel. I would visit every country in the world if I had the opportunity. On top of that, I stay active, whether that is by skiing, running, hiking and spend time outdoors. I care greatly for my friends and family - I deeply enjoy connecting with others as I tend to think of myself as a more extroverted individual.
Looking ahead, I’m excited to build a career that bridges my artistic talents with my drive to connect and inspire. My goal is to channel creativity into work that makes a lasting impact, whether through design, marketing, or other creative paths that I make in the future.

My skills in my career
As a Golden Goose artisan and sneaker maker, I use luxury sneakers as my canvas, creating custom, hand-crafted designs that combine fashion with artistic expression. I offer services including hand painting, detailing with Pentel pens and specialty materials, embroidery, and custom modifications that transform each pair into a personalized piece of wearable art.
Through my experience, I have developed technical skills such as sewing on and removing the signature stars, altering design elements, and incorporating custom stitched and embroidered details to bring unique concepts to life. Each project requires a balance of creativity, precision, and craftsmanship to ensure the final product reflects both the client’s vision and the brand’s elevated aesthetic.
A major part of my role is collaborating directly with clients to understand their ideas, inspirations, and personal style preferences. I work closely with them throughout the creative process to turn their vision into reality, designing one-of-a-kind sneakers that feel personal, artistic, and completely individualized.
